Changed to Mt Stirling due to the amount of groomed trails and easier access for beginners
Leaving Melbourne very early Saturday morning (like 6.00am) from the club rooms. We'll ski/snowshoe towards the summit, and setup camp near one of the many alpine huts in the area.
Spend Sunday skiing the slopes or playing in the snow before heading back to Melbourne that evening.
Even outside the resorts, skiing in Australia is expensive with petrol, chain hire and resort entry. Drivers will need acquire chains for their car (these can be rented in Melbourne, but not from the club).
