Weekend Caving trip to Buchan to do a number of caves over the weekend catering for any level of experience.
If novice cavers then plan will be
- Saturday Wilsons Cave first followed by,
- a series of caves in the potholes reserve namely Honeycomb,
- Oolite and
- Razor Cave usually in that order.
- Sunday Potholes reserve: Centipede Cave
If all participants are more experienced then cave selection may change.
Directions: Route to Buchan Drive from Melbourne Friday night along the Monash & Princes Freeway to Bairnsdale, then the Great Alpine Road/Omeo Hwy to Bruthen then Bruthen-Buchan road to Buchan.
Accommodation: Camping at national parks campground in Buchan (cost is usually about $8-10 per person)
