Inaugural Intervarsity Canoe Polo Competition Weekend

Hey friends!
Get your helmets on and grab your magnesium tablets; it's time to show those other outdoor clubs who's the best at throwing balls in nets from kayaks! 

Event details: 

    Training: Saturday morning 9-11am

    Competition games: Saturday 12-5, Sunday 9-4

Location: Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre 

Accommodation: all teams are encouraged to camp together at the nearby (free!) Campground on friday and saturday night.

Note: players do not need to be university students; you just need to be affiliated with a university club (such as this one)

Cost: will be calculated closer to the date. Depends on team numbers as there is a flat team fee + gear and people transport costs. Bear with me. It will be worth however much it costs anyway ;) 

Now accepting suggestions for team names and uniform designs. Winner gets a cool high five from yours truly and the satisfaction of (finally) looking more team-like than ROC's Aquaholics. 

There will also surely be some cards on the side, and maybe we'll BBQ some halloumi and cheers to our favourite sport.
