Goulburn Beginner Paddling - Trip Cancelled -

Requirements: Know how to swim and you must come to meeting on Tuesday night before trip

** At this point in time the dam is not releasing enough water into the goulburn river therefore the level is too low.  Therefore I am postphoning this trip until another time. The Yarra is possible to run, but I will not be leading it; so if you are keen to do this, you will need to go to the meeting and try to find another leader who wants to take you down! (it will be difficult to find a leader.....)**

If you are a beginner come along and see what paddling is all about! If you know how to handle a boat, come along anyway and help pass on some of your knowledge, and get to know the paddling crew so when the rivers come up we know who to call!

We will confirm which river closer to the date; depending on where the rain is falling and what the river levels are like. It will most likely take place on either the Yarra River or the Goulburn.

You will need to know how to swim and be pretty keen to learn some basic kayaking skills, most of the other stuff we will help you with.
