Nerd out on climbing gear!
On Tuesday 3rd December 2019, DMM will be setting up a gear-breaking machine for you to test your old gear on. Bring in old slings, quickdraws, carabiners, harnesses... whatever you like.
Discuss how gear works and how it breaks with Chris Rowlands, one of DMM's employees from Wales, where they still manufacture DMM hardware.
On the night, we'll also have special edition DMM Australian Tour carabiners (bring cash! Proceeds go to Cliffcare), bits and bobs from the DMM factory and shiny new DMM gear on display, including the much-anticipated DMM Dragonfly – a flexible-stem microcam that comes in several sizes.
Join us for a night of nerding out on the best climbing hardware ever!
Venue: North Walls Climbing Gym, 3/17–19 Hope Street, Brunswick VIC
No bookings required. If you're climbing, it's just North Walls' regular gym entry fee.
