Kayaking Leadership Starter Course

Hi,

Thanks to generosity of the RMIT paddling officer, Michael Clark, we have a few places available on this joined trip. In order to assist with the running of kayaking trips, Michael will be running a course to help people learn the basics of how to organise and lead kayaking trips.

"We will cover a number of topics including basic kayaking skills and how to teach them, some simple self and assisted recovery techniques, and some rescue techniques. The plan is to head to the Marabrynong for the day. We will take a range of different types of kayaks, so as we can work with and compare them."
