South East Forest Scrambling

A drop into the isolated region around the Genoa River along the boarder with NSW, avoiding the traffic of the adjoining long weekends. This park contains the southerly most tip of the eastern great escarpment with all the spectacle that goes with it. Summits through the range have simultaneous views from the coast to Mt Kosciusko, but they're all trackless and covered in rainforest.

Care of the off track walking this is marked as advanced and only suitable for people with previous experience of those conditions in Australia. The exact route will be determined together by the group (and/or border travel restrictions), but the overall plan would be for 2 nights camped in the forests away from the car with a whole day exploring between.
