Hello there Oxo's!
Last updated: March 16, 2021
We have an updated return to play plan for Melbourne University Sport! The maximum number of people allowed on trips will now be tied to the indoor household limit, this means we can have trips of 30 people! Tuesday meetings in the clubrooms are still suspended but gear hire is allowed. If you need to hire gear for a club trip, contact your trip leader or relevant sports officer.
Members are required to follow our COVID-19 participant guidelines when on trips and accessing the club rooms.

Overnight Paddling Trip is There!
Thanks everyone for expressing interest in this trip, it’s awesome to see there are so many keen paddlers! However, due to the small size of the camping spot on river and overall big group size (MUMC + ROC + MUOC), the total number of people that can come form MUMC is 11 inclusive of the leaders.
Rafting spots 4 - open to all skill levels
Kayaking spots 7 - intermediate & advanced
Rafting - able to swim comfortably 50 meters, have been on a club overnight camping trip before
Kayaking - kayakers that are comfortable on grade 2, ideally can paddle roll, have been on an overnight camping trip before
Please, indicate in the comments below what activity (kayaking/rafting) you’re signing up for. If you are uncertain about some prerequisites or not sure about your skill level, please reach out to me ().
Rafters: $40 (raft+paddle+helmet+PFD+cag) + fuel money (TBD)
Kayakers: $20 (kayak+deck+paddle+helmet+PFD+cag) + fuel money (TBD)
Fuel money estimated ~ $50-70
Mandatory meeting for this trip is on Tuesday 20th April at 6.30 pm in the club rooms - to arrange paddling gear for you and figure out car groups. The bushwalking store will also be open in case you need to hire some camping gear too.
Stay tuned for more details,
