Canoe Polo Skill Development (Beginner/Intermediate)

Hey Everyone,

For those of you who do not know about Canoe Polo, it is a really fun game that combines dodgem cars, kayaking, and basketball. You are on Kayaks and try to dribble/pass/ and shoot a Waterpolo-like ball into a goal that is raised up in the air.   

Jade will be organizing a Canoe Polo beginner session on Saturday at the Essendon Canoe Club (Fairbairn Park accessible via 57 Tram route). It is a good opportunity to learn the basics of Canoe Polo and also build up some of your basic paddling techniques. Depending on the interest, he may run a few more. If you are new to the club or just new to Canoe Polo, this is a great chance.

Make sure to wear any active/swimwear with woolen thermals (if you would get cold easily). No Cotton. Cotton retains too much water and makes you cold.

Fee: 15$ for the session, and the required gear/kayak.
