Hi paddlers,

Are you keen for some white water? The season hasn’t kicked off quite yet, but good old Yarra has a decent flow at the moment. Yarra is grade 2 river, this section has four graded rapids: Bob’s rock, Island, Bend of Isles and Arthur's Mistake. This trip is open to beginners that have attended at least one pool session (aka can wet exit and T-rescue) and have been on one flat water paddling trip (yes, canoe polo trainings/comps counts). We’ll do the longer Warrandyte section, put in at the Lower Homestead Road car park and take out at Bourchiers Rd. More information to follow on Tuesday pre-trip meeting. Comment below if you have any questions.

Expected cost: $15 gear hire + transport

Cheers,

Natalie and Richard
