Intro to White Water Kayaking

This trip is intended as a mild introduction to whitewater paddling, no prior experience is expected, you're only required to be able to swim comfortably 50 m. The trip is primarily intended for new or returning members but spaces may open up for current members closer to the time, depending on interest (so keep an eye on this page!).

Traditionally, we take beginners to Yarra, however this time, we'll take you to the Templestowe rapid! Exciting! We'll meet at the rapid at 1:45 pm. Jade will bring a trailer of equipment for you there, and I'll email everyone a list of clothing for the activity closer to the date. If you want to organise a carpool, I'll include a list of drivers and their contact details in my email. 

Cost: $20, needed to be paid in advance in order to confirm your spot (once you sign up, I'll send you payment details).
