2 days of bushwalking with forest, sea and river views for all of you who love the beach, bush and want a bushwalking trip that takes you to these environments!
Are you looking for a weekend hike with lots of variety ... lets try out the Great South West Walk together!

The track is located in the south-western corner of Victoria. It starts at Portland, heads north-west through forest to the Glenelg River, follows the river downstream through the small town of Nelson, then returns east along the coastline to the town of Portland. The whole circuit walk is 250km divided in 17 walking sections and provides a fascinating variety of scenery and wildlife in the southwest of Victoria.

Plan: To walk parts of this less famous track in the south-west of Victoria and enjoy the various scenery.
Which parts is TBD at the trip meeting on Tuesday 10th of May.

Need: At least 2 cars to do the shuffle between the start and the end of the walk.

Requirements: Keen bushwalkers who can walk around 20-35km per day (the grade is easy/medium, quite flat so it should be reasonably easy), maybe a total of 60km during the whole weekend (if we're a quick paced group. Bushwalking grade 1 and 2 welcome!

Info: There are 16 campsites along the track, no camp fees or bookings needed, all campsites have a pit toilet, tank water and a wood barbecue or stone fire ring.
For more detailed information please read on the track's site: http://www.greatsouthwestwalk.com/track/l%20walk.php
Please note that the walking sections we choose can change due to weather conditions (strong winds/flooding etc).
