Beginner hike in Eastern Victoria (including swimming!)
The plan:

Day 1
Easy hike along the beach from Mallacoota to Lake Barracoota. Lake Barracoota is the largest natural fresh water lake in Victoria, is situated approximately 100m from the beach, with lush gippsland forest on one side and desert like rolling sand dunes on the other side. Note we may need to pay a small price for a boat to get across the inlet at Mallacoota

Day 2
A day walk out of our camp site either along the beach, exploring the dunes or up a near by mountain for some views. We might have some time fro swimming in the lake or at the beach.

Day 3
Walk back to Mallacoota and drive home.

Its about a 6 hour drive so we might decide to take an extra day and camp somewhere near the beach before or after the drive so its not too rushed.
(May decide to drive up on Friday and camp near Mallacoota)
