The Mountaineer Magazine

Hey all. 

Our annual magazine, The Mountaineer, is set to go to print by early March!!!

While this is exciting news, it means the deadline for submissions is fast approaching. 

For anyone considering submitting an article/pictures/recipes/news please get in touch with me or submit them directly to

Articles do not have to be from club trips, any outdoors related activities are welcome. We encourage you to share your stories and adventures from outside the club as they may inspire others and share knowledge. 

The deadline is 14/02/2022. (However, get in touch if you need extra time and we may be able to squeeze you in!!). 

The Mountaineer will be available in the Clubrooms, Baillieu and State Library. It has been published since 1961 and we are excited to continue this tradition despite recent interruptions.
