Two Bays + The Coast

Leaving Melbourne 12:00pm on Saturday and returning by 6pm on Sunday. 

This trip is for people who have overnight hiked before, carrying a pack of 15kg minimum. We will potentially need to carry water for the whole trip, which will add 8kg to our packs. 

This hike initially climbs the hill to Arthur's Seat for some great panoramic views of the bay. It then passes through beautiful bushland and forest, crossing creeks and with abundant wildlife. We will camp overnight at Lightwood Creek camping area, a clearing in the bush with no road access so will be nice and peaceful. On day 2 after more lovely forest, the track reaches the coast at Bushrangers Bay, where we will turn west to follow the rough rocky coastline until it changes into sandy surf beaches. We will have lunch on one of these beaches and have some time for swimming/chilling before heading back to Melbourne by 6pm. Please let me know if you have any questions!
