Canoe Polo Victoria, together with the different clubs is having a "Come and Try  Canoe Polo Intro season for beginners at Brunswick Baths (https://goo.gl/maps/bWWkcPhaYteSHwep9).

For those of you who do not know what Canoe Polo is, it is this weird but fun game in which you are in Kayaks and play a game that is similar to water polo.  You can watch this short video to give you an idea of the game (https://youtu.be/2jtfXgYRsxk).

It will be 4 sessions and anyone with any skill level is welcome. Each of the four sessions runs from 7:45 pm until 10 pm on Wednesdays in the 50m "outdoor heated" pool and will introduce players to the sport through basic skills and safety, and progress over the weeks to ensure that all players will be playing a round-robin competition by the third and fourth week.  All gear is provided at the pool so you do not need any paddling gear.

You would need some warm dry clothes to change into after the session. It is a heated pool, but it is outdoors, so you would also need a pair of warm thermals (Polyester/Polyprop/Merino) and swimwear to ensure you don't feel too cold when outside of the water.

Dates: 4x Wednesday nights: July 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th

Cost: $120 per person for the total of 4x Wednesday night sessions (It includes pool hire and paddle equipment).

Payment: Sign-up and Payment

To attend this event you will need to sign up via the link given above which will include signing up for a free paddle Aus account and insurance. To keep a track of the participants, please sign up for this trip on the MUMC page as well.
