Snowshoeing / XC Skiing in Falls Creek (Note Change of Plans)
* Multi-day hiking experience is necessary. The trip will require basic snow knowledge and individuals without adequate gear will be politely left behind (gear can be arranged but will require due diligence).
Saturday: Leave early in the morning on Saturday and drive to Falls Creek.
We will then be camping at Moutain Creek and driving to Falls (1hr). From here we will ski/snowshoe to Langford Gap 6km
Sunday: 3km to Wallace Hut hut or 8.3km Cope Saddle Hut
Monday: If camped at Wallace we will ski 9.3km back to the car or 10km back from Cope Saddle.
Cost to be determined: Anticipate snow parking to be $165 per car (discount may be arranged but to be determined), plus petrol and other usual costs.
