Requirements: Multi day hiking experience required, at least a few overnight hikes

Update: For those interested, Tiger screwed us over so we stayed in Victoria and half of us did a 7 day snowshoe hike in the Victorian Alpine National Park instead.

The trail:
A magnificent 223km trail starting near Alice Springs heading west towards Mount Sonder, among the best trails in Australia. It is divided into 12 sections with good facilities at each trail head.

Dates:
6-20 July, hiking days are 7-18 July, with one day leeway which can otherwise be used exploring/partying in Alice Springs. Flying with Tiger Airways. Make sure you have talked to me about readiness for the trip before booking flights.
Need to know:
- The average low is 4C in July, it can drop below freezing
- Moderate level of fitness required, there will be some 20-30km days

Costs:
- Flights +15kg, ~$280-$330
- Transport to and from airports, to be discussed
- Camping fees at 3 of the camp sites (about $15 per person total)
- plus personal expenses such as food
