 Introducing master twitcher Oakley!

With our bird expert leading the way, we'll go for a leisurely hike through Sherbrooke Forest for a few hours and learn about birds. I imagine it'll be a nice combo of hikey outdoor time and really cool learning. We're super lucky to have Oakley volunteer their time and it'll be a wonderful experience. Hopefully, increasing our awareness of all the incredible bird species close by will help activate some more conservationy desire in all of us.

In line with conservation values, this is a no-car trip! We'll travel entirely by PTV there & back (taking 1.5 hours).

The general plan is:

meet at 10 at central,

get to sherbrooke state forest 12.30,

walk and birdwatch/spot till 5.30,

depending on what we're feeling up for either...

have dinner in a pub, head back 8, at central 9.30

Or minus dinner leave 6, back 7.30

Tips from Oakley:

- Long pants recommended for people who are scared of leeches!

- If you have binoculars you should bring them if you're keen to see the birds/wallabies better
