O'Brien's Crossing to Mackenzie's Flat

Requirements: Overnight hiking experience and moderate level of fitness required

Update: Anyone want to take over running this trip? I ended up joining on a separate trip there on Sunday.
Route:
30+ km scenic overnight hike from O'Brien's Crossing to Mackenzie's Flat, along the Lerderderg River, in the Lerderderg State Park (yay fires!). Side trips or detours to get the most of the scenery, such as the gorge and the weir, and maybe to hunt some geocaches.

Dates:
Late July, maybe on 2 weekdays. It's rather close to Melbourne so can leave in the morning and return the night after.

Miscellaneous:
- Car shuffle required so need 2 cars minimum
- River crossings, possible bush bashing
