Hoping to catch the wildflowers of the Brisbane Ranges on this fairly chill hike. Likely to see grass trees, pea flowers, heath, tea tree, grevillia and more! Will be pretty easy walking, so a good opportunity to bring a camera, and get a bit more creative with dinner. A great intro to overnight hiking, or a nice way to warm up for spring adventures. While this is a beginner hike, you should be prepared to carry an overnight pack for 25km with some hills. A base level of fitness is required. Chat to us if you’re unsure!

Strict limit of 12 campers total due to campground size. Have already booked sites, will ask for a couple bucks each from everyone to cover the costs (on top of usual car costs).

Day 1 - Friday’s Campground - Little River Campground: we’ll drive from the club rooms at 7, and try to reach the trail head at 8:30. Then we’ll organise a quick car shuffle and get cracking. We’ll have 24km and about 585m ascent and 635m descent over the day. Nothing too strenuous.

Day 2: Little River Campground - Boar Gully: the second day will be a breezy 9km with a teeny bit more up and down. Should be easy peasy and I expect to cover it in about 2 hours. Thought it’d be nice to stop in on the Old Workshop Cafe in Anakie on the way home for a bite to eat (it looks super cute). Should be back at the club rooms by early afternoon.
