Rope Skills Night

Rescheduled to not clash with Canyoning

Monthly ropes skills is back! Our August session had a great turn out with lots of members coming along to learn and practice knots, hitches and prussiks and sport anchors at the clubrooms. 

Everyone is welcome from beginner to advance and we will tailor the skills to ensure everyone learns some new skills. This is a great way to meet some fellow keen climbers or get into climbing and rope skills for newbies.

Caitlin will be running through some knots and hitches and Jacob will be running through some vertical rescue skills such as descending and lowering, belaying with a munter hitch and lowering past a knot (or whatever other VR skills anyone is keen to learn)
