Yarra bend half day walk

This is an easy half day walk ( beginners friendly ) for socialising

We will meet at Victoria Park Station (Abbotsford) lunch time around 12:00 PM @ Dr Mors Cafe in the front of Caltex.

Transport:

Metro from the city take the Hurstbridge Line or South Morang Line stop at Victoria Park.

Weather: 

Can be rainy, cold or sunny (or all together). Bring umbrella & rain Jacket

For the day: bring with you , water , snacks , sunscreen and personal medication. Wear shoes ( running shoes or trail one are good enough) for the walk there are rocky and muddy sections ( No Sandals of flip flops )

The Plan:

The walk starts from Johnson St. Passing by Studely Park Boathouse and the flying -Fox lookout

(where you can see thousands of Bats migrated from the Botanic garden) to Fairfield park Amphitheatre.

Then we walk back through the main Yarra track to Dights falls and head  to Victoria Park station.
