Intro to Outdoor Climbing

With the beginning of the new semester, many club members may be wanting to get more involved in climbing outdoors. To help people get involved I will be running an Intro to Outdoor Climbing information session. In this I will explain how to start outdoor climbing with the club including how the Club's framework operates and the best ways to progress through the system. 

In this session I will also be going through more general rules and best practices for climbing outdoors that will make you early outdoor experiences easier, safer and more enjoyable. 

Finally I will be running though some climbing techniques on our bouldering wall that unused indoors, but are vital when climbing on real rock. (Crack Climbing!!!).

*Please be aware that I will not be teaching skills such as placing trad gear or leading, but I can advise you on the best way for you to learn these skills.
