Hello All!
I don't have my weekends to explore the outdoors and so have decided to run a day trip during the week. This will be a very cruisy walk through Werribee Gorge Circuit (https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/australia/victoria/werribee-gorge-circuit-walk ) with the added benefit of being a quick drive from the CBD.
The current plan is to meet at MUMC at 8:30am and then driving out to Meikles Point Picnic Area where we will then start hiking at around 10:00am. The walk is only about 4 hours long hence the difficulty but if people are keen I will definitely push for us to go along the centenary trail to Island Lookout. We should be done around 4:00pm which gets us back at the clubrooms in time for any further trip meetings people may have on the day.
The below gear list is pretty straight forward. I do expect some mud so please keep that in mind when selecting your shoes.
- Lunch (Snacks optional)
- 2-3L Water
- Appropriate footwear (ask if unsure)
- Clothing fit for the weather
