Beeripmo Walk and Mount Buangor Loop

Beeripmo Walk is a classic Victoria overnight hike I've wanted to do for a while. It offers excellent views of the Grampians and explores Mount Cole State Forest and Mount Buangor State Park.

This is a beginner trip and a great entry point into overnight hiking; however, there still is a large amount of elevation gained with an overnight pack on, so a good fitness level is recommended.

The plan is to leave the clubrooms around 8:30 am on Saturday, August 20th, do the first 11km of the trail and camp at Beeripmo Campground, stopping for lunch at the summit of Mount Buangor. The next day, leave Beeripmo campground around 8:30 and hike the remaining. 9km back to Richards Campground with the aim of being back at the clubrooms in the early afternoon
