Social Thursdays goes Bindiving!
Feeling the cost of living crisis, or just feel like helping tackle food waste? Come along to maybe find some free groceries and good vibes!:) Everyone is welcome. If you have past Naarm bindiving expertise I would love some advice, if you are new to bindiving you’re just as welcome to come along!
I will discuss at trip meeting with potential participants where to go and best transport options depending on group members’ home locations and vehicular possibilities. Probably inner north area. Thinking potentially bike powered if no car.
Participants will be able to use club’s gardening gloves. Other than that, please bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sensible shoes, and a headtorch if you have one.
FAQs:
Is bindiving illegal? No, only if you break locks or jump fences to do so.
What is bindiving? Bin diving involves rummaging through waste bins outside shops to find salvageable food or other goods.
Why should I go bindiving? Bin diving conveniently tackles both the food insecurity felt by many and the issue of food waste.
