Requirements: You'll be suitably fit for a long day of walking and comfortable/capable walking off track on loose surfaces. Headtorches will be essential.

You must be able to leave after lunch on the Friday afternoon, and attend the meeting on Tuesday.

With much of the wilderness in this state inaccessible this year through closures (from non-existent flood damage) and the usual seasonal road closures I'm proposing a quick jaunt across the border to enjoy some on/off track walking along the NSW/VIC border down to the coast. In the Nadgee/Howe wilderness areas straddling the border we've got a smattering of Iconically named peaks all with simple access via well defined tracks, however, they dont join up!

Leaving early on Friday afternoon will allow the entire Saturday to be filled with traversing the tracks in search of the elusive water in the region, before some peak bagging madness on the Sunday on the way home. Most of the walking will be with only day gear, but a full pack will be needed to/from the remote campsite.
