Mountains on Stage Film Tour

Mountains on Stage features some amazing stories of mountain expeditions, and will be held at the Palace Cinema Como on the corner of Toorak Road and Chapel St in South Yarra.

This year's lineup includes:

Deepfreeze:

The first repeat of a difficult line on Grand Jorrasses in the Swiss Alps.

Sea to Summit:

Jacob Cook and Bronwyn Hodgins paddle through the Arctic to put up a first ascent of an 800m cliff in Greenland.

Fond of Font:

Some Parisienne climbers attempt to climb 100 7A boulders in the forest of Fontainebleu in a single day to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first 7A (about a V7).

SUBTERRANEAN:

Exploratory caving in Canada.
