Canyon Leader Training

Canyon Leader training weekend to be held at Cold Streak Canyon. 

This is an opportunity for aspiring Canyon Leaders to work on specific techniques and practice skills in a real canyoning trip. 

Cold Streak Canyon is a full day trip described in the Canyoning in Vic Guidebook with ~5km of off track walking and ~500m of vertical scrambling to escape. This will require advanced navigation, self sufficiency in a high flow canyon environment and plenty of warm neoprene. 

We will leave Melbourne on Friday the 19th after work, camp at Lake Cobbler and canyon all day Saturday. There is the option for a second day trip on Sunday before heading back to Melbourne that afternoon. 

This trip is open to Canyon Leaders or those at Canyon Beginner level who have ticked off most of their skills and can display progress towards canyon leader status.

This is not a beginner trip.
