Mount Cobbler Plateau Circuit Hike is a 29km hike in victorias high country that summits Mount Cobbler and explores Dandongdale Falls (Victoria's highest waterfall)

Priority will be given to participants that were signed up to the previous cancelled Mount Cobbler trip

Day 1: We will leave Crooms at 6:30 a.m. and drive up to the trailhead, stopping for breakfast along the way. We will start hiking in the morning, passing Lake Cobbler (Note: this may be the last place to fill up with water) and Dandongdale Falls (Victoria's highest waterfall). We will camp on the saddle of Mount Cobbler. We may also do a sunset/sunrise hike to the summit of Mount Cobbler.

Day 3: 14.5 km: Hike back to the cars and arrive in Melbourne in the evening, stopping at a pub for a celebratory parma.

Risks: This is a grade 4 circuit, so the terrain is very rugged. A decent level of fitness is required due to the around 1500m gained in elevation throughout the hike. As this is an intermediate trip prior to overnight, bushwalking experience is required. In addition, due to being in the alpine region of Victoria, weather can change very quickly, and all participants will need to be adequately prepared for all conditions.
