Requirements: good boots, warm sleeping bag, walking sticks recommended, rain jacket, rain pants, warm clothes, deb potato, fresh garlic and parmesan cheese
Springtime hut trip, Friday 23 - Sunday 25 September
Friday night, depart Melbourne 7pm, drive to Bright and stay at backpackers, $24 each in two person rooms.
Saturday, drive to Harrietville and walk to MUMC hut via north west spur. Walk up to the summit if the weather holds. Sleep in the hut.
Sunday, sunrise photo shoot followed by leisurely breakfast and possible summit walk. Walk back down NW spur. Dinner at the pub on the way home, back late Sunday night.
