Are you a gumby who watched the alpinist once and have always dreamt of becoming as cool as Mr. Leclerc without having to actually get off the couch? Then this is for you!

I've been working on some custom 3-D printed drytooling tips for the club's new semi-technical ice axes and they're at a stage where they just about work on the bouldering wall. If you're keen to have a faff/play with the tools then join me after next week's meeting from ~7;30pm until we get bored or the tip covers all break. (hopefully the former)

Climbing shoes and gloves of some sort for hand comfort are recommended. (especially since if you decide the tools suck you can just do some regular bouldering instead)

Please note that there is inherent risk to any bouldering activity, particularly when holding two axes, as when you pop off you fall like sack of potatoes and can hit yourself with the axe. All actually sharp parts of the axes will be covered, but it is still a fairly pointy metal stick at the end of the day. As such, this will be only for people who've spent some time on the bouldering wall before and are comfortable falling. Helmet and safety glasses will also be provided.
