Stroll in the park

Requirements: All gear, as we will not be staying in huts. A couple beers would be good too ;)

Hey Guys,

I wouldn't mind going exploring around Mt Fainter and pretty valley pondage. I hear it is really nice around there, so I plan to check it out for myself.

Plan:

Drive up to Hotham (free parking now), find out a route to pretty valley pondage to camp (swim?). From there, see how we feel and try to get to Mt Fainter, or Mt Jaithmathang (Mt *cough* niggerhead *cough*). If after that we still have legs, then make our way back to the cars for a nice drive home.

The distance covered is 20km a day-ish, so be prepared for that, there isn't much water on the way to pretty valley so stock up. I would encourage all levels to participate on this one as it is very flexible with time frame and distances.
