Blue mountains Trip (Caving & other activities) - CANCELLED

Requirements: None, trip will cater for experience level of participants. Is possible one or two days activities may require previous experience (see above for learning trip)

Blue mountains trip based at the Jenolan caving area for 1-2 weeks over the christmas - new year period,

Actual leaving date is pending everyone's avalaibility would very much like to avoid christmas traffic.

I am running a predominately caving trip to the Blue mountains however don't expect to spend the whole two weeks caving expect to break things up with some other activities such as Bushwalks (day or overnight) in the nearby Kanagra-boyd National Park maybe some Canyoning. This trip overlaps with Alaster's canyoning trip to the Blue moutains may so joint activities may be possible (see http://www.mumc.org.au/node/1042).

Jenolan is one of Australia's best caving area's with a significant number of caves with everything from large walkthrough caverns to smaller scambling, crawling caving and everything in between often all in the once cave.

Depending on interest we may head back sooner from the Blue Mountains and take some side trips on the way back to melbourne for example there is some excellent caving in the Snowy Mountains (Nat parks permits pending) which also has some scenic walking areas nearby.

If there is sufficient interest I will be running a weekend trip to Buchan on December 10-11th for anyone who wants a bit more caving experience or needs to learn rope skills eg abseiling prior to the trip.
