Climbing Assessment Trip

Are you currently a probationary climber in the club's framework and want to be checked off so you can run and join awesome climbing trips. We will be heading to Werribee gorge in order to assess your skills. To come on this trip you must be an experienced sport or trad climber. Preference will be given to those who have been assessed on their rescue skills already.

The levels that will be assessed on this trip as Independent Lead Climber (ILC), this is for people who know how to trad climb. The other level is Sport Independent Lead Climber, this is for people who know how to lead safely outdoors on bolts and clean a sport anchor.

The date is currently set to the 16th, but can be changed to the 9th if that works for people better.
