Sport Climbing Practice at Mount Macedon

We will be sport climbing at back wall of Camels Hump so tie in and get up there! This is a trip intended for participants of the mid semester trips that have acquired sport skills in training nights but haven't been climbing outdoors before. We will be leaving from Melbourne around 8am, arriving at the crag near 9:30. If it has rained in the previous 4 days we will probably sport climb at the You Yangs instead.

To attend you must be at least a seconder in the climbing framework (although only SILC's and above can lead). We will be doing a mix of sport and trad climbing. If you want to do these you should be familiar with cleaning anchors and lead climbing/belaying. This is not a top roping trip. If you have prior outdoor/lead experience please contact Riley at !
