There is a solar eclipse next year in Australia. We can also do some walking in the Daintree national park.

Cairns area and Arnhem Land are the only places in the world you can see the solar eclipse, unless you have a boat! Arnhem Land  is right on the edge it wont last long there. Its going to be packed in Cairns!!! We should book stuff very soon!!! The actual solar eclipse is on the 13th of November!

The sun will rise partially eclipsed, then it will get darker as it as we get the total eclipse.

Just have to figer out how to get my telescope up there!!!

Question: How many times can you look at the sun through a telescope without a filter.

Answer: Twice. More if you take advantage of a solar eclipse!
