Leaders: William M, Benjamin D, Ethan C
Standard: Intermediate
Meeting: No meeting

Join us for some early season skitouring/splitboarding to Victoria's highest mountain, Mount Bogong. We will be aiming to ski some mellow stuff down Cairn Gully since it usually becomes skiable first, though may be able to explore the West Ridgge and other aspects.

After departing Melbourne we will camp at Mountain Creek Campsite at the base of Mount Bogong, or if we have enough time will make for Mitchell Hut which is up on Mount Bogong.

If there's good early snow the trip can be rescheduled to make use of it! The provided date is highly tentative given the dangers of Mount Bogong in poor weather. In the case of poor weather the trip may also be moved to another location.
