In order to become a Sport Independent Lead Climber (SILC) in the MUMC Climbing Framework, you must demonstrate your ability to clean a variety of anchor types commonly found around Australia safely and efficiently.
The assessment will run in the clubrooms, where you will need to demonstrate this ability on the different anchor types in our bouldering area.
I will be prioritising anyone looking to attend the mid-semester trip due to its proximity, but anyone is welcome.
If time permits, I am also happy to assess some ILC rescue skills, but prospective sport climbers will have first dibs.
