Paddling Gear info session

Given the increasing amount of interest in paddling, and number of trips being run we will run an info session on paddling gear.
This will be done at the clubrooms using the projector upstairs.
There are 3 main areas that we will be covering, aiming to help people learn:

• the basics of what gear is needed for paddling trips
• what gear the club can provide
• what they will need to have (and some tips on prioritisation if you want to start buying your own gear)

The types of gear we will be looking are divided into the following main categories

• Personal gear
• PPE
• Boats and Boating gear

At the end we will spend some time specifically looking at what gear is needed for the Thomson trip, including the non-paddling camping gear that will need to be brought for the trip.
