We're back to the Blue Mountains for the 2nd semester mid-sem break for the second year running!
Spectacular trad lines at Mt Piddington, epic multis at Sublime Point, and world class sport climbs at Bell Supercrag; there is endless incredible climbing in this stunning pocket of NSW, and with any luck, there might be some adventurous canyons to explore as well!!
To attend this trip, you will need to be at least a Sport Independent Lead Climber (SILC) in the club's climbing framework. This means at a minimum having your anchor cleaning assessed in the clubrooms by an MCI and holding a current lead pass at an Australian climbing gym (coming along to Monday Night Climbing is an excellent preparation).
This will be primarily a sport climbing trip, but there is also some excellent trad climbing at many of the crags! Anyone wishing to lead trad must be at least a Probationary Independent Lead Climber (PILC). If you are unsure where you stand in the club's framework, send your logbook and any questions you may have to the Ropes Officer, James, at .
Further details will be finalised closer to the date, but it is sure to be an unforgettable trip!!!
Also, if any ILCs or canyoning leaders would like to help me run the trip, please reach out to me. :))
