To become an Independent Lead Climber (ILC) in the MUMC Climbing Framework, you must show your proficiency in a number of rescue skills including:
- abseiling and ascending past a knot
- lowering a climber past a knot
- lowering in guide mode
- z-drag (3:1) and assisted hauls
I will be assessing these skills on the night at the clubrooms with Isaac in the bouldering area!
