If you'd like to learn about the beautiful but threatened Matted Flax-Lily (Dianella amoena), this is your chance! This event is just a short train trip from Melbourne, so is very accessible if you feel like a couple of hours in the outdoors.
It's hosted by the Merri Creek Management Committee. You'll be helping to update existing mapping of Matted Flax-Lily patches using GPS, and documenting threats. You'll also be doing some hand-weeding of the patches.
All training is provided.
