Burnley Climbing Wall Picnic

Join us for a picnic and some climbing at Burnley Bouldering Wall next to the Yarra river on a lovely sunny Saturday! BoM tells me it will be 21 with sun breaking through in the afternoon - cold enough to climb, warm enough to picnic (hopefully).

There are two circuit walls (one vertical and one 30° overhanging), and a harder 45° proper bouldering wall. They have recently been reset, so hopefully the holds will be nice and textured. There is a very big range, with the circuit walls having plenty of lower grade climbs for beginners.

There will be some snacks on offer, but we will probably still bring our own lunches. A thermos full of tea or coffee would improve the experience I think.

Hopefully the big group will be obvious enough, but otherwise look for MUMC shirts on arrival if you are unsure. See you all there!
