Requirements: The trip is open to those who have done some easy bush walking in Australia before. Please make sure you are comfortable with the distance of the walk and your level of fitness.

You must have good walking shoes, a day pack and waterproofs if the weather requires.

Number of places will likely be limited to 10-12 and ofcourse will depend on car availability.

 

Sunday day walk around Centenary Track and The Island in Werribee Gorge State Park.
The book 'Melbourne's Western Gorges' sums up the walk as 'volcanoes, gorges and yellow gum woodlands'. Its sounds like a pretty walk with some lovely views. The distance is 10.8km, estimated time 4 hours and is graded as moderate.
