Requirements: A little fitness and a cheery disposition.

Much waiting and frustration later, we've finally seen the staged roll out of tracks opening in Victorias most convenient and popular national park. Wilsons Promontory is just a short drive from Melbourne along sealed roads and has about 2 weeks worth of bushwalking trails all of which are worth visiting.

We'll tackle just a few short sections of the extensive tracks, sticking to the beginner friendly southern section and walking into the night to avoid the drudgery of an out-and-back trip. This will have us spending 2 nights sleeping away from the cars with the entire Saturday self-sufficient and just out of reach of the day-trippers.

Due to the need to book and pay for camping permits participants are required to sign up online and then place a deposit of $20 for the trip. You will be emailed to organise these details once you have signed up below.
