Standard: Independent climbers only

Requirements: You should be comfortable and experienced in lead climbing indoors and be able to climb grade 19 happily.

Weirs Creek is a new sport climbing crag in the Western Grampians that offers excellent moderate climbs (which are not underbolted!). It is a beautiful (yet small) area and although I've been before well worth another visit.

You can find more information here:

http://www.climb.org.au/index.php?page_id=10&action=area&area_id=1646

It features climbs around grade 20.

You should be comfortable and experienced in lead climbing indoors and be able to climb grade 19 happily.

This trip is for independent sport climbers (no trad skills needed).

I will reduce numbers to 8 people (including myself). The area really isn't big and it just get too crowded otherwise. (numbers also depending on cars of course)

We will drive up on Friday night and camp at Buandik. The area is a good 30min drive from the campground (especially if I manage to get lost again) and there is about a 30 min walk-in. So bring good shoes (apart from climbing shoes).

But it is well worth it. It's a beautiful spot!
