Requirements: Climbers need to be able to lead climbs independently, placing and evaluating protection, arranging anchors, abseils and descents. You also need to provide secure belays.

Do you lead 15 but top rope 20? Close the Gap! 

Advanced coaching to enhance your climbing introducing an array of strategies and techniques through small group and individual coaching to help you gain the confidence and ability to push your limits.

To participate fully on this trip, climbers need to be able to lead climbs independently, placing and evaluating protection, arranging anchors, abseils and descents. You also need to provide secure belays.

The first day of this trip is spent climbing and observing climbing, receiving and acting on (ie more climbing) individual and group coaching or instruction.

The second day is structured around onsight goals, with each participant having a route recommended to attempt a new hardest onsight (usually cheered on by the rest of the party).

A warning to the people in the front row: you will fall off - this course is not for beginner leaders.

The trip will take place at Arapiles and is limited to four participant if interested send an email to gaetan [dot] riou [at] gmail [dot] com. Independent climbers are welcome to join the trip and watch the session but they won't be getting full coaching workshop, again send an email if interested.

The trip meeting is MANDATORY as Stuart needs to have a chat with you to be able to plan the week-end.
