South For Summer Climbing

Requirements: Prepared to put in some preparation leading up to the trip, refining climbing skills if necessary.

Tassie. I haven't climbed there yet but having just spent 9 days at Moonarie in SA with summer temperatures setting in now it might be time to head to south to the summer crags of Tassie. Past MUMC members Alice and Tim will be there for the month of December, continuing on their year long climbing travels. Potentially join them for a week or two. A great introdution, the two of them can show us around.

Looking for a climbing partner or four to make up a car load to head down, sometime around 10th and to be back before Christmas. Dates are flexible and could be just for a week.

Trip limit 4 maybe maximum 5 or if there is enough interest, a second car could join us.

Experience? Preferably trad climbing but if you are leading sport that might do. Could take one or two beginners if you are willing to put in a few weekends leading up to the trip where I can teach you the skills required. But would need to have been climbing in the gyms on a semi regular basis prior. Speak to me if your interested.
